I’m Sommer, the designer behind Sommer Mark Creative.

My work lives at the intersection of art, design, and thoughtful storytelling. With a BFA in design and digital multimedia and over twelve years of experience as a professional graphic designer, I developed a strong foundation in color, composition, and creative problem-solving—skills that naturally evolved into my interior design work.

Before launching Sommer Mark Creative, I worked within an established interior design firm, gaining hands-on experience with high-end residential projects and the behind-the-scenes coordination that brings a home transformation to life. As I began taking on projects of my own, my background allowed me to step confidently into larger remodels, vacation rental transformations, and elevated residential design throughout the South Bay and beyond.

My graphic design background continues to shape my work today, influencing both the aesthetic and the client experience. I combine a strong visual point of view with practical renovation knowledge and a detail-driven approach to create intentional, modern, and beautifully livable spaces for homeowners and investors.
